India got Independence on 15th August; this day is celebrated in India as a national festival dotted with cultural program, competitions, flag-hosting ceremonies, and parades.The day holds great significance in the heart of every Indian citizen living in India and abroad. As India ceased to be a colonial nation and secured full autonomy from the British that ruled over it for around 200 years.
